Description

Today's recipe is very simple, but it can present a few issues. Follow the instructions and you'll have a site optimized as best as possible for now. You should see your organic traffic curve take off in the coming days, because your WordPress response speed has a huge impact on your results in Google and other search engines like Bing, Qwant...

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Go to GTmetrix.com to check your score
  2. Go to the website of WP Rocket and create an account. Choose your plan (the first is €39) and download the plugin
  3. Install the plugin as usual and activate it. You will have two access points: at the top of your admin page and in Settings > WP Rocket
  4. Go back to check your score on GTmetrix
  5. From now on you can tick all the boxes. Two ways to proceed: tick everything, check whether you haven't broken your site, then view your new score and pop the champagne.
  6. If you did break it, I recommend restoring your backup (just the database) with UpdraftPlus and checking the boxes one by one to identify which one causes the problem.
  7. Go back to check your score on GTmetrix

Note

There you go, you can play with all the options. If you have an issue, WP Rocket's support is in French and very responsive. And don't forget to share if you liked it!
