Google section
- Go to gmail.com and create a @gmail.com address. Don't forget your password.
- Go to https://analytics.google.com and sign in (you'll probably already be signed in with your Google account).
- Click on 'Get started with Google Analytics' then click 'Sign up.'
- Fill in the fields Account Name, Website Name, Website URL, and select an Industry Category and a Reporting Time Zone.
- Under Data Sharing Settings, check the boxes next to the options you want.
- Click on 'Get a Tracking ID.'
- In the Google Analytics Terms of Service window, click I accept.
The plugin
- Go to the plugins menu of your WordPress and add the Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP) plugin
- At the end of the installation click the link that will connect you to your Google Analytics account. If you have multiple Properties (sites) in Google, you will be connected.
