Qualcomm at the forefront

This partnership with Qualcomm is strategic. The American firm already supplies the majority of Android mobile chips and sees in Android for PC an opportunity to redefine the market. Christophe Cuvillier, President of Qualcomm, speaks of a project "iincredibly ambitiousx" allowing us to fully leverage next-generation Snapdragon chips, notably thanks to their artificial intelligence capabilities.

These upcoming PCs should feature optimized ARM processors, promising not only controlled power consumption but also on-device AI handling, including translation, speech recognition and local data processing without the cloud.

A direct offensive against Windows and Apple

The first computers equipped with Android should target a hybrid audience, halfway between the general public and creators. Office apps (Docs, Sheets), entertainment (YouTube, Stadia or its successors), and productivity tools (Drive, Meet) will all benefit from a much more natural context on PC.
