GEO: don't trust the gurus, test for yourself!

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is on everyone's lips, but let's be frank: for the moment, no one has the magic recipe to optimize a brand's presence in AI assistants' responses.

The ecosystem is evolving at unprecedented speed and ready-made methods or miraculous promises are popping up. Faced with this, two attitudes emerge: follow to the letter advice from self-proclaimed experts… or adopt an exploratory approach.

At Abondance, we decidedly favor the second: experiment, compare, document.

A webinar to explore GEO today and tomorrow

It is in this spirit that we are launching “GEO: field feedback and 10-year scenarios.”

Our first webinar, in partnership with RocketLinks, Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 11:00 to 12:00. Far from promising ready-made formulas, the event brings together web practitioners who will compare their experiences, share their tests and open the discussion on the best ways to experiment today.

On the agenda:

  1. Numbers to decode the trend. The question is not whether SEO is dead, but to measure where AI is actually being used, without pitting it against traditional SEO: how far has the adoption of generative AI come? What are users' behaviors and intents? How is Search evolving on traditional engines?
  2. Field feedback. Each speaker reveals an independently run GEO experiment: context, deployment, lessons (and limits). They will report on their tests and give you keys to guide your own.
  3. And in 10 years? We will conclude with a collective ideation session to imagine the web in 10 years. What future for the website interface? How will AIs themselves fight spam, as Google has always done? Where will online purchases take place tomorrow: on social networks or in AI assistants?

The session will be hosted by Laura Blanchard (Abondance), joined by:

  • Maxime Doki-Thonon (Reech.com, RocketLinks). An expert in netlinking strategies, Maxime observes and analyzes how AI is transforming online visibility and reputation management.
  • François Crespin (Yumens – MV Group). Head of the SEO & GEO division at Yumens, François supports companies in integrating AI into their visibility strategies.
  • Vincent Terrasi (Draft & Goal). A pioneer of Agentic SEO, Vincent has been exploring for several years how AI can automate and enhance the SEO value chain, from ideation to content generation.
  • Luca Fancello (Qwairy). SEO consultant and now also Founder of Qwairy, Luca develops optimization tools to rank effectively on AI search engines.
