GEO: After the promises, time for real-world feedback

Generative Engine Optimization continues to generate a lot of commentary, many hypotheses… and more few definitive certainties. One thing is certain, however: in a few months the topic has evolved, usages have too, and the first field feedback is beginning to allow a more concrete reading of the situation.

At the start of 2026, it is therefore no longer just a question of wondering about GEO's potential, but of look at what has actually changed adoption of generative AIs, evolution of usages, role in search journeys, initial impacts observed for brands and first lessons learned from experiments carried out in the field.

At Abondance, we remain committed to the same approach: observe, test, compare experiences and document what works, but also what still resists analysis.

A webinar to take stock of GEO in early 2026

It is in this spirit that we offer this new webinar dedicated to the state of GEO at the start of 2026.

Organized in partnership with RocketLinks, this event will bring together several speakers to contrast perspectives between market analysis, concrete feedback from experience and projections for what comes next. The objective: to provide a useful, accessible and above all grounded-in-reality progress update.

For one hour, we will review the most notable developments observed since 2025, then share several real-world case studies carried out in different contexts. The event will end with a forward-looking segment and a Q&A session with participants.

Agenda

Where do we stand at the start of 2026?
We will open the webinar with a status update on GEO: key figures, trend curves, market shares and major trends observed. This first part will also revisit what has changed since 2025, both in terms of usage and approaches to visibility in AI environments.

Concrete feedback from experience.
The second part will be devoted to several practical cases and field lessons. Each speaker will share feedback from their own tests or client work, with a common goal: to remain concrete, useful and honest about the results as well as the limitations encountered.

And now?
We will conclude with a forward-looking segment and a Q&A session. An opportunity to take a step back on the upcoming challenges for GEO while answering participants' questions.

The panel

The session will be hosted by Thibaud Lapacherie, SEO manager at Abondance, joined by:

Maxime Doki-Thonon (RocketLinks)
He will present both the key figures and current trends, as well as a RocketLinks case study sharing observed developments from recent months.

Pierre Gincheleau (Yousign)
He will present a focused case on Yousign, with feedback centered on concrete lessons learned in the field.

Emmanuel de Vauxmoret (Uplix)
He will review an accompanied client case to shed light on the operational realities of GEO in a support context.

Why attend?

This webinar is for those who want to move beyond general statements to better understand the current state of GEO.

Because things are changing fast. Because between press announcements and field observations, it's become essential to separate the signal from the noise. And because it's always more useful to learn from concrete experiments than from ready-made recipes.

By attending this webinar, you will be able to take a step back on the topic's evolution since 2025, discover several concrete cases, and leave with firmer reference points to inform your own thinking.

In short, one hour to better understand what has changed, what is being confirmed, and what still needs to be explored.
